Haiti's Sunrise Airways to add first ATR42-320
26 February, 2016

Sunrise Airways (S6, Port au Prince) has announced plans to expand its fleet with the addition of a first ATR42-320 turboprop to be delivered to the largest Haitian carrier later this month.

The carrier's president Philippe Bayard has said that using the aircraft Sunrise plans to serve longer routes to destinations in the Western Caribbean. Using a fleet of Jetstream 32s, Sunrise currently serves Camagüey, Santo Domingo La Isabela and Santiago de Cuba internationally as well as Cap Haitien locally from its Port au Prince base.

Using the Avions de Transport Régional (Toulouse Blagnac) turboprop, Sunrise hopes to add Havana Int'l, Kingston Norman Manley, Nassau Int'l and Providenciales to its network in due course.
