Unread post by bimjim » Tue Sep 16, 2014

The CRANe and Winair congratulates the newly upgraded First Officer, Carlyle Dublin (centre), as the newest Captain in our Twin Otter fleet. Carlyle has endured tough training and difficult flight exams to get to where he is today.

Helping him celebrate in Toronto, Canada, are our four Twin Otter Training Captains from left to right, Capt. M. Awai II, Capt. N. Morton, Capt. R. Hodge and Chief Pilot Capt. J Oliver.
Both the CRANe and Winair wishes Carlyle much success and smooth landings!

Welcome to the "Club", Carlyle... Now that you are on your way "up", may we more experienced heads ask you to remember your journey and to treat others below you now as you would have wanted to be treated yesterday.

As with all professionals, you are expected to both train and be trained - patiently help others to understand what you learned, and in turn continue to constantly learn more yourself for the rest of your career.

We all wish you good luck in your chosen career - and we also ask you to always remember that hard work and how you treat others has much more to do with your advancement in aviation than any element of luck.
