The summer holidays are nearly here, and you might be thinking of jetting out of Glasgow. Well, you can now fly direct to Jamaica thanks to Thomson Airways. Flights from Glasgow Airport will now head to Montego Bay, Jamaica, every Thursday. The new route's inaugural flight departed on June 22. Karen Switzer, Director of Aviation Planning, Thomson Airways, added: “Adding more choice and flexibility for summer 2017 demonstrates our commitment to Glasgow Airport and the local area. "We are pleased to be able to extend our long haul offering with the introduction of a new route to Montego Bay, Jamaica, allowing our customers to experience new destinations and hotels.
