Sunwing is pleased to announce the introduction of a new all year round service from Toronto to the Caribbean island of Antigua, with direct weekly flights departing between November 10, 2017 and October 26, 2018 inclusive.

Celebrated for having 365 beautiful sandy beaches – one for every day of the year – Antigua offers an array of land and water sports; from excellent golf courses to some of the best kite surfing and kite boarding conditions in the Caribbean. The island is also home to a world-class sailing regatta that takes place each spring.

President of Tour Operations, Andrew Dawson, welcomed the news adding, “The beautiful island of Antigua is a welcome addition to our wide range of sun destinations. As the #1 to the sun, we are committed to providing our customers with affordable vacation packages that include convenient flight services from their local airport. We are pleased with the wide range of resorts that we have partnered with on the island and feel that we have something to suit vacationers of all tastes and budgets.”

"We are pleased to launch this transformational travel partnership. With direct Sunwing service from Toronto and Montreal to Antigua, Canadians finally have an exciting new option for their perfect winter getaway”, said Colin Skerritt, Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Director-Canada.

Those who travel with Sunwing to the island could be among the first guests to stay at the new Starfish Jolly Beach Resort. The first hotel from the popular chain to open outside of Cuba, this fun-loving Antiguan resort promises to offer a packed program of land and water sports together with a complimentary kids club. Or, families may prefer The Verandah Resort and Spa that features sprawling villa-style accommodations and three refreshing swimming pools—including the largest freshwater pool in Antigua. Adults looking for a quiet getaway could opt for Pineapple Beach Club Resort with its excellent spa and varied dining experiences together with a wide range of water sports accessible from the powdery white-sand beach. Popular amongst vacationers of all ages, St. James Club and Villas is known relaxing ambience and lush surroundings in a 100-acre peninsula.
