The Leeward Islands Airline Pilots’ Association (LIALPA) is distancing itself from the online video challenge LIAT issued to Virgin Atlantic owner Sir Richard Branson.
After much criticism from Internet users, LIAT pulled down the video but not before others had posted it to their own pages.
Now LIALPA Chairman Captain Carl Burke says he and his fellow pilots had and want no part in the challenge:

The challenge to Sir Richard was posted after he brought attention to an open complaint letter to LIAT from Tennis Pro Arthur Hicks.
The letter had gone relatively unnoticed until the Virgin Atlantic founder shared it. His celebrity attracted attention to Hicks’ letter from news networks around the world.
